Service Policy – Express Prime Notary

At Express Prime Notary, we strive to provide dependable, accurate, and professional notarial services with your convenience and satisfaction in mind. Please review the following service policies:


1. Scheduling & Payment Policy

  • All services must be paid for in advance of the appointment.
  • Once payment is received, clients have 90 calendar days to schedule and complete their appointment.
  • Appointments can be scheduled or rescheduled via our official Calendly app at your convenience.
  • Clients may reschedule an unlimited number of times within the 90-day period following payment.

2. Payment Methods

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Cash
  • Debit Cards (in person or over the phone)
  • Credit Cards (in person or over the phone)
  • Postal Money Orders
  • Checks
  • Online Payments (via our secure online portal)

You may pay using debit or credit cards either:

  • Over the phone for convenience
  • In person via card swipe during your appointment
  • Online via our secure payment portal.

3. Error & Rework Policy

  • If an error occurs due to our notary or a notarization is deemed invalid due to our actions, we will redo the notarization at no cost to you until the documents are completed correctly.
  • If an error occurs due to client action (e.g., incorrect information, missing documents, or signature issues), we will offer a redo at 50% of the original service fee as a courtesy.

4. Flat Fee & Included Services

  • All fees are flat and include the full service. This includes notarization, printing of documents, and the cost of mailing.
  • We cover standard mailing as well as expedited services such as Priority Mail, Overnight FedEx, and Registered Mail at no additional cost to the client.
  • The quoted fee covers all necessary materials, travel, printing, and mailing, ensuring you won’t encounter any surprise charges.
  • Flat fees are based on the assumption that all paperwork will be completed within 2 hours.
    • If the notarial service extends beyond 2 hours, an additional charge of half the original fee per hour will apply.
    • This rarely happens, but in such cases, this policy will apply.

5. Notarization Scope & Client Responsibility

  • Our notaries are trained to notarize on practically any document that has or can have a signature.
  • However, if a client instructs the notary to notarize a document that an institution or entity may find unacceptable or invalid (for any reason, including legal or technical issues), the responsibility for any rejection or non-acceptance of the document rests with the client.
  • It is not the notary’s or our company’s responsibility if the institution does not accept the notarized document. We recommend confirming with the recipient of the notarized document whether the document will be accepted.

6. Cash Payment Policy

  • For cash payments, the notary will not seal any signatures until the full cash payment has been completed. This policy is in place to protect the notary and ensure all payments are properly received before finalizing the notarization.

7. Guarantee of Completion

Your satisfaction and the successful completion of your notarial documents is our top priority. We guarantee that your documents will be completed properly and professionally, or we’ll make it right. If needed, we will continue to correct and redo the notarization at no additional charge until everything is done correctly.
